Prenatal Yoga, Mom and Baby Movement, & Mama Slow Flow

Pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood is undeniably a wildly transformational experience for a woman's body and soul where many physical and emotional changes are taking place. My classes are designed to support women on their motherhood journeys honoring the changes in ourselves and our bodies as we connect to body and baby through breath-work , meditation, and movement. If you are looking for ways to safely move your body, gently stretch tight muscles, reconnect to your breath, find a space to restore & relax, and experience a sense of 'being held' by a group of women, then this series is for you.

These classes will equip you with tools for a healthy, calm, and mindful approach to your experience through pregnancy, labor, birth, and motherhood. Yoga beginners are welcome and encouraged. ⭐️

This yoga series made me feel cared for and gave me a space to care for my changing body and connect to my baby. Elissa has a special gift at supporting us through this vulnerable and sacred journey. The yoga asanas and breath practice were just what I needed each week to stay in the present moment, move mindfully, and remind myself of my own strength. I would highly recommend!

Elissa is a great leader. I loved how connected I felt with my baby and how good my body felt after each session! I also loved the emails with a synopsis of the exercises and other recommendations for pregnancy!

This felt like much more than a yoga class - it felt like a community of support, which I really needed.

Learn more about Elissa.

Mom and baby yoga has been a great way to connect with other postpartum moms. Elissa provides a nice laid back atmosphere and is very flexible to the individual needs of each class. It has given me the opportunity to relieve stress and connect with my baby at the same time.

It was so cathartic to share space, stories, and movement with women who are experiencing a similar life change. I have felt a loss of connection in this time of corona and so very much looked forward to virtually seeing my new pregnant friends every week. This class was a treat for me.
— Anonymous in Iowa
I am so grateful to be able to spend time with my son, introducing him to something I enjoy. Being on maternity leave, this was a great way to get us out of the house, do something fun together, and get to know other moms!

Elissa is the cat’s pajamas. And sometimes her cat also makes a cameo appearance during our sessions! 🐱 But in all seriousness, this class was just what I needed. Not only is it run smoothly but it is the resource I never knew I needed! It has allowed me to connect with other mamas and devote time once a week to me, my body, and my baby. Finding time for yourself can be hard, and this class helped me improve at this! I love hearing from all the mamas in the beginning of class and sometimes wish the class was even longer for more conversation and even more yoga! Overall it is the perfect blend of the two. I would recommend this to every pregnant mama! I wish I had found it sooner so I could attend more than one series. Thank you Elissa for creating something so unique and special for the women who so need it during their pregnancy journey!

Each week, this small group was able to recreate the feeling of an in-person prenatal class with time for check-ins and sharing resources. Class was restorative and functional, both physically and mentally. Elissa helped us to learn more about our pregnant bodies and minds through the poses and guided meditations she chose.
— Caitlin from OR
This series has helped me make some time and space to specifically focus on my pregnancy. I have a toddler at home and so it has been hard to find the time and energy to give to this prenatal experience. I am thankful for the series which allowed me to focus, process, and be exceptionally thankful for the blessing of this pregnancy.
— Amanda from VA
I have struggled with being pregnant during the pandemic and feeling like I have access to the support and resources I want and need during this time. This series was a wonderful opportunity to connect with other pregnant women and do something that felt great in my body. Getting emails after each class with additional resources has been so helpful!
— Kail from OR

Having the opportunity to be part of this prenatal series has been an incredible blessing for me in my pregnancy. As a mother of an ever growing and energetic toddler, finding time to sit, breathe and tap into my evolving energy and the energy of my new baby has been much more challenging than with my first pregnancy. Having this once a week daily dose of intentional breath work and movement has been a potent medicine for me! I find myself craving the time out at the beginning of each week!

In addition, with our world in a time of such uncertainly and encouraged social distancing, it is increasingly hard as a pregnant woman to tap into a network of other mamas, to feel that strong bond and support of the sisters. Elissa values and fosters this connection, which is able to reach across state borders, and puts you “face to face” with the struggles and joys of other peer mamas to be!

This class is an invaluable resource and has come to me at the perfect time in my journey as a mother, a pregnant woman and a human living in this crazy world of today! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
